We do our best to educate our patients on follow-up care and maintenance of their new prosthetic eyes. Six months following the delivery of your new prosthetic eye we strongly encourage coming back for a check up appointment. This will give you substantial time to become adjusted to the prosthetic eye as well as a time for our ocularists to examine your progress. If you are experiencing discomfort or are not happy with the final look of your prosthetic eye, you are more than welcome to schedule an appointment before six months.
