For the best possible color match and fit, the custom eye is unparalleled. This type of eye is manufactured step by step with each detail designed to match the companion eye. The process begins 5-6 weeks following surgery to allow adequate time for the eye socket to heal.
Upon your first appointment with us, we may begin the process by taking an impression of your eye socket. The result of this impression will truly make your artificial eye “custom”, as it is molded to your specific socket shape.
From there we will begin our painting process and fine-tune the color and fit of your new prosthesis. On average, this whole process will only take 2-3 appointments.
