Robert Henderlite, B.C.O. Ocularist, grew up in Pennsylvania and graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 1987 with a B.A. in liberal arts. After several years of working as a sales consultant for AT&T Communications, he moved to Charleston, SC to apprentice as an ocularist under his father, Hunter.

After completing his training, he founded Southeastern Ocularists, Inc. in Charlotte, NC in 1993. Robert takes great pride in his work and especially enjoys making a difference in the lives of his patients. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children and also stays active playing volleyball, basketball, tennis, boating, golfing, and camping.

Erin Henderlite, Ocularist, is a native Virginian who graduated with highest honors from the University of Kentucky with a B.S. in physical therapy in 1992. She worked primarily in the orthopedic and sports medicine realm, including work with the WNBA, Davidson College, and Charlotte Latin School.

She has traveled extensively, including backpacking across the United States National Park system, Europe, and Australia.She joined her husband as an ocularist with Southeastern Ocularists, Inc. in 1998. She enjoys spending time with their son, Hunter, and daughter, Reagan, as well as their Weimaraner, Hanna. She also enjoys volleyball, boating, golf, hiking, and yoga.

Shari, Office Manager, earned a B.A. with honors in Business Management from North Carolina State University in 1989. She worked for ten years in corporate training, providing instructor-led computer classes and serving in several management roles. She also worked as an adjunct instructor at Spartanburg Technical College for three years teaching various computer software applications.

Shari joined Southeastern Ocularists, Inc. in 2004 as an office manager for the Charlotte and Winston-Salem locations. She currently manages all Southeastern Ocularists locations. She enjoys traveling, cooking, and watching her son and daughter participate in numerous sports.

Samantha, Creative Consultant, is a native of Virginia and graduated with honors from Virginia Tech with a B.A. in Art in 1990. She went on to continue her education at Radford University, graduating with a Master of Fine Arts in 1994. As an awarding-winning graphic designer, she worked for RU before moving to Winston-Salem and working as art director for Wake Forest University. She has been commissioned by VT, RU and private individuals in several mediums and currently works as a freelance designer while pursuing her obsession with oil painting.

Samantha has worked with Southeastern Ocularists since 1998 as a creative consultant. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young daughters. She also indulges in hiking, kayaking, photography and interior design.
